JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT
SOAR speech and debate club cordially invite you to participate in our 12th Annual Arkansas Diamond Speech & Debate Tournament. We will have teams from all over the nation competing in this three day tournament.
We Need You!
We are looking for people from the community to volunteer as judges. Serving as a judge is truly both enjoyable and rewarding. Caution: You might get hooked! Enjoy delicious meals, tempting desserts, and coffee supplied all day long in our Judges Hospitality Room, FREE to our community judges!
Am I Qualified?
Yes! Any adult (age 18+ and post-high school) willing to be a judge is qualified. A training session is provided prior to each event to guide you in your role as a judge. The training session requires your attendance, so please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled judging time.

Tournament Hours:
- Thursday, January 25th 7:00 AM- 9:30 PM
- Friday, January 26th 7:00 AM - 9:15 PM
- Saturday, January 27st 7:30 AM- 7:15 PM (If you’d like to attend our awards ceremony, it will be 7:45 - 8:30 PM.)
Time Commitment
It only requires a 2 ½ - 3 hour commitment.
